Jeder verarbeitet sowohl bewusst als auch unbewusst seinen Alltag. Dabei setzt man sich gerade mit den unbeholfenen, peinlichen und lustigen Momenten im Nachhinein in grübelnder Weise auseinander – „AWKWARD MOMENTS“. Das kennt sicherlich jeder. Ich habe eine für mich passende Formsprache gefunden, diese Momente festzuhalten. Ich kombiniere in schneller, spontaner Malerei Erinnerungen an zwischenmenschliche Ereignisse, Träume, visuelle Eindrücke und Situationen der Unbeholfenheit, sodass sogar der Betrachter beim Versuch, meine Bilder zu verstehen, einen „awkward moment“ erfährt.
